XML configuration files
SubSim uses a set of configuration files to set up the default simulation
world. These files are in XML format, so they are relatively easy to
read, understand, and modify if necessary. (Remember, it is a good idea
to make a back-up copy before editing the XML files.)
Here is a list of the default XML files and a description of their usage:
- settings.xml - holds application settings, like paths, plugins.
- world/defaultworld.xml - the default world environment.
- robots/mako/mako.xml - a model of the Mako AUV built at the University of Western Australia.
- examples/high/wallfollowing/wallfollowing.sub - holds all startup settings for a simulation... objects, objectpositions, pluginsettings and the worldfile
